Causer, Officials to Dedicate Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge

WHAT: The bridge carrying Kushequa Avenue (State Route 3009) over the Kinzua Creek in Hamlin Township, McKean County, is being designated as the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge.

WHO: Rep. Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter); Sen. Cris Dush (R-25); John Moffett Jr., son of Vietnam veteran John Moffett Sr., who first proposed naming the bridge; Don Wenner, friend of John Moffett Sr.; and Alvin Loveless, director of McKean County Veterans Affairs.

WHEN: Saturday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m.

WHERE: Kushequa Avenue Bridge over Kinzua Creek in Hamlin Township, near the Kushequa Union Church.
