Guardian Pharmacy Services Opens Long-Term Care Pharmacy in Lexington, Kentucky

Guardian Pharmacy Services has opened a pharmacy in Lexington, Ky., marking the company's first physical location in Kentucky. Operating as Guardian Pharmacy of Kentucky, the pharmacy serves residents in assisted living, skilled nursing and behavioral health communities, as well as organizations that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities statewide.

Guardian Pharmacy of Kentucky strengthens Guardian's presence in Kentucky, where it has long supported LTC communities through partner pharmacies in neighboring states. The new location enhances the pharmacy's capabilities and customer support, strengthening service delivery and providing greater access to specialized medication management expertise for LTC communities and residents.

The state-of-the-art facility is purpose-built to meet the unique needs of LTC customers. It houses advanced technology and automation systems to help staff accurately and efficiently prepare residents' medications. Tom Mullaney, who leads Guardian Pharmacy of Ohio and Mullaney's Pharmacy in Columbus and Cincinnati, will also serve as president for Guardian Pharmacy of Kentucky. Vice President of Operations Troy Stinson and Assistant Director of Operations Abbey Meredith will lead day-to-day operations. They are supported by Vice President of Finance Todd Miller and Vice President of Sales & Customer Success Tessa Zimmer.
