Houston, Texas, June 5, 2025 - Tiffany Charles, Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Houston Christian University (HCU), was named Admissions Officer of the Year by the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP) during the 2025 NACCAP Annual Conference held May 28 - 30 on the HCU campus.

Each year, NACCAP honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and excellence in the field of Christian education. The 2025 awardees have been nominated by their peers and colleagues, acknowledging their significant impact within their institutions and the broader Christian education community.

The award was presented to Charles during the conference by Willem de Ruijter, Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing at Geneva College.

Dr. James Steen, Vice President of Enrollment Management & Marketing, commended Charles for her recognition, describing her as "an incredible asset."

"Tiffany has been rising through the ranks rapidly here at HCU since joining the team in 2016. She completed the College Board's Enrollment Leadership Academy (ELA) a few years ago and has been active in our state admissions organizations since then," said Dr. Steen.

In her nomination submission, colleagues praised Charles for her outstanding dedication, inspirational leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

"Tiffany is amazing and literally no one works harder than she does. Tiffany is extremely passionate about her faith as well as HCU; and she is absolutely an up and coming leader in the enrollment management field. She doesn't do anything halfway; it is always 110%… even to the point where we have to put her on vocal rest a few times a month because she loses her voice so often!? Tiffany embodies the ideal persona of an admissions officer and leads her team to rise up and set records year after year.

Charles graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kaplan University with an associate's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She later pursued a degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English at Grand Canyon University.

"I am truly humbled and honored to receive this award from NACCAP. For me it's simple, serve greater. Take the stage Lord and have your way. I am a vessel and nothing more," said Charles in response to her selection.
