Post-2027 long-term EU budget

From around 10:15, MEPs will outline their priorities for the EU's next multiannual financial framework, in a debate with Danish European Affairs Minister Marie Bjerre and Commissioner Piotr Serafin, ahead of the presentation by the Commission of its proposal. A Parliament resolution adopted in May called for a "significantly more ambitious" budget and argued the current spending ceiling of 1% of the EU-27's gross national income was not enough.
