Help shape what San José looks like in 2040!
The Planning, Building and Code Enforcement Department invites you to take part in its General Plan 4-Year Review by attending one of its Open Houses. The public can learn about the General Plan, the City's guiding document for growth and give input on how it should evolve before planners make recommendations to the City Council.
The General Plan 4-Year Review is focused on four key areas: Urban Villages, Residential Capacity, Missing Middle Housing, and Jobs to Employed Residents Ratio.
