NBAA, IADA Deepen Alliance at 2026 NBAA-BACE

Washington, DC, Sept. 23, 2026 - The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is expanding its strategic partnership with the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) at the 2026 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE).

Specifically, nearly 50 members of the accredited dealers and certified brokers trade group will be co-branding or partnering with IADA's NBAA-BACE exhibit footprint and provide expertise in the convention's discussion sessions focused on aircraft transactions, market conditions and pre-purchase evaluations. Taken together, the moves are part of a growing collaboration that will strengthen support for both organizations' members, especially on matters regarding aircraft transactions, maintenance and market expertise.

"IADA dealers and brokers are an essential part of our dynamic industry who bring critical expertise in aircraft transactions and market dynamics," said Jo Damato, CAM Fellow, NBAA, senior vice president, events and professional engagement.

"This expanded participation at NBAA-BACE, anchored by prominent involvement in industry-critical programming, strengthens the value we provide to the industry, from operators and flight departments to maintenance providers and suppliers," she added.

For IADA, the expanded presence at NBAA-BACE is part of its commitment to build a deeper connection with the business aviation industry.

"Our objective is not simply to have a larger presence at NBAA-BACE, but to make a greater contribution to the business aviation community," said IADA Executive Director Lou Seno. "IADA members bring extensive transaction experience, professional standards and practical knowledge about what makes aircraft transactions successful and where problems can arise.

"Working with NBAA gives us an important opportunity to put the expertise of IADA-accredited dealers and certified brokers to work for aircraft buyers, sellers and the broader business aviation industry," he added.

On Oct. 20, Seno will take part in "Decreasing the Risk, Cost and Time of the Pre-Purchase Event," which will give participants immediate, actionable tools to optimize the transaction process.

IADA executives also will be part of the Oct. 21 "Market Outlook: Aircraft Broker Insights" panel, where industry experts will provide essential data, professional guidance and market intelligence on aircraft availability, pricing, demand, transaction activity and more.

Additionally, IADA technical experts and the NBAA Maintenance Committee have collaborated to deliver a coordinated and practical approach to pre-purchase inspection best practices. This session is designed to give buyers, sellers, dealers and others actionable tools to optimize the transaction process.
