Occident renews its sponsorship of Bàsquet Manresa, now in its 15th consecutive season

"The lower categories of the club will be called Occident Manresa, after the insurance company"

Occident, which began its collaboration with Bàsquet Manresa in 2009, will continue one more year (2024-2025) as the club's main sponsor, marking its fifteenth consecutive season of support. This sponsorship strengthens the link between the two entities and underscores Occident's commitment to the values and benefits of sport.

As part of this agreement, the lower categories of the club will continue to bear the name of "Occident Manresa", and the company logo will be displayed on both the shirts of the minor league teams, from the initial to the junior categories, and at the Nou Congost Pavilion, where the first team play their ACB League matches. The Occident brand will thus be displayed around the court, in the Nou Congost press room, and at the events organised by the club.

In relation to this sponsorship, the CEO of Occident, Juan Closa, noted: "We firmly support grass-root sport and its positive impact on the community. This sponsorship not only strengthens our commitment to the growth and development of youth talent, but also allows us to stay connected to a historic basketball institution".

For his part, the manager of Bàsquet Manresa, Carles Sixto, stated: "We want to express our gratitude to Occident for its continued support of our club over these 15 years. Thanks to its commitment to our project, we continue to grow and train future generations of players".

Bàsquet Manresa, with a history that includes one ACB League title, a Copa del Rey and two Ligas Catalanas, is a leader in sport in Catalonia and in the city of Manresa.
