State Route 4 - Lane & Ramp Closures
One-Way Traffic Control At Middle River Bridge

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • One-way traffic control at Middle River Bridge for bridge inspection on Thursday, May 8, from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • Overnight closures of the #3 (right-middle), #4 (right) and auxiliary lanes of westbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway from SR-99 to Interstate 5 for soundwall work beginning Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 9, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Filbert Street to westbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for soundwall work beginning Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 9, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Interstate 5 - Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Hammer Lane To Sacramento County Line

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, May 4, through Saturday, May 10, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, May 4, through Saturday, May 10, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 12 - Lane Closures
Alternating Lane Closures In Lodi

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 12 (SR-12) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Alternating lane closures on SR-12/Victor Road from Beckman Road to Cluff Avenue in Lodi for utility work on Monday, May 5, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 26 - Lane & Shoulder Closures
Traffic Control At Various Locations

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 26 (SR-26) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Alternating lane closures at Shaw Road/Lillian Avenue for shoulder work beginning Monday, May 5, through Thursday, May 8, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 9, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Darrigo Lane and at Jack Tone Road for shoulder work beginning Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 9, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Flood Road/Front Street in Linden for shoulder work beginning Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 9, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 88 - Lane Closures
One-Way Traffic Control

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 88 (SR-88) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • One-way traffic control at Calaveras River for bridge beginning Monday, May 5, through Thursday, May 8, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Route 12 West to Brandt Road for pavement work on Monday, May 5, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 99 - Ramp And Lane Closures
From French Camp Road To Peltier Road

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Full off-ramp closure from southbound SR-99 at French Camp Road for drainage work on Thursday, May 8, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Overnight, full closures of southbound SR-99 at Austin Road in Manteca for k-rail installation beginning at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, through 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30. All northbound lanes will remain open.
  • Full off-ramp closure from northbound SR-99 at SR-26/Fremont Street for drainage work on Friday, May 9, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Full on-ramp closure from SR-88/Waterloo Road to southbound SR-99 for pavement work on Thursday, May 8, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • Overnight closures of the #1 (left), #2 (middle) and #3 (right) lanes of northbound SR-99 from Cherokee Road to Hammer Lane for bridge work at the Calaveras River Overcrossing beginning Sunday, May 4, through Friday, May 9, from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Full on-ramp closure from Wilson Way to northbound SR-99 for bridge work beginning Sunday, May 4, through Friday, May 9, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Long term full closure of the Calaveras River/Frontage Road Overcrossing of SR-99 due to bridge work. Estimated completion date for bridge repairs is May 2025. Please seek alternate route.
  • Full off-ramp closure from northbound SR-99 at Hammer Lane for pavement work on Tuesday, May 6, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • Full off-ramp closure from northbound SR-99 at Morada Lane for pavement work on Wednesday, May 7, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • Full on-ramp closures from SR-12/Kettleman Lane to northbound SR-99 for tree work beginning Monday, May 5, through Thursday, May 8, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from southbound SR-99 at Acampo Road for bridge work on Saturday, May 3, from 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m., and from Sunday, May 4, through Saturday, May 10, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on southbound SR-99 from Peltier Road to Mokelumne River/Frontage Road for bridge work beginning Saturday, May 3, through Friday, May 9, from 10:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m., and on Friday, May 9, from 9:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Interstate 580 - Ramp Closures
Overnight Closures At Patterson Pass Road

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 580 (I-580) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures on eastbound I-580 at Patterson Pass Road for construction beginning Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 9, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from westbound I-580 at Patterson Pass Road for construction beginning Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 9, from 7:00 p.m. until 3:30 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
