During the phone call, Vladimir Putin wished Kassym-Jomart Tokayev Tokayev Kassym-JomartPresident of the Republic of Kazakhstan a happy birthday.
The President of Kazakhstan expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received during his stay in Moscow to attend the official events marking the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory.
The two leaders discussed current matters pertaining to the preparations for Vladimir Putin's upcoming state visit to Astana and the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council to be held there.
Earlier, the President of Russia sent a message of greetings to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
