DART RETURNS TO NORMAL SERVICE FREQUENCY

DALLAS, Texas - Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will return to pre-FIFA World Cup schedules beginning Monday, July 20. Additional services during the tournament were funded by federal and local grants, which are ending at the conclusion of the tournament in North America.

During the enhanced-service period, DART experienced a 12.9% increase in ridership, a testament to the role public transit played in North Texas getting locals and fans across the region for the football festivities. Schedules for returning to pre-June 8 frequency are as follows:

Light rail lines will return to 20-minute peak headways and 30-minute late-night headways. The Orange line will only run to Parker Road during peak hours.

The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) will return to 30-minute peak headways, and 1-hour off-peak and Sunday service will cease.

There are no changes to GoLink, paratransit, Silver Line, or bus schedules.

Be sure to check the rail schedules, as departure times have been adjusted on all lines to improve service and provide better connections.
