City invites public input on Half Cent Sales Tax funded projects through Nov. 8

Every year, the City of Tyler takes a closer look at the projects that shape how people move and connect across the community. Many of these projects are made possible through the City's Half Cent Sales Tax Fund, and this fall, residents have the opportunity to help guide what comes next.

The City is now accepting public comments through Nov. 8, 2025, on projects included in the 2025-2026 Annual Work Plan that are funded through the Half Cent Sales Tax Fund.

Each year, the Half Cent Sales Tax Board develops a proposed annual work plan and budget. The plan includes new projects, ongoing ones still under construction, and identified future projects. Projects are tiered to indicate when funding may become available.

Community members are encouraged to review the proposed 2025-2026 Annual Work Plan and share their feedback. Community input plays a key role in ensuring that City investments reflect the needs, priorities, and aspirations of Tyler residents.

To view the plan, visit Half Cent Sales Tax 2025-26 Annual Work Plan. If you would like to submit comments online, go to CityOfTyler.org.
