Earth Day Clean up: Today, April 22, 2025, 30 UG employees rallied together to kick-off the first of many UG sponsored community clean up events in Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas.
Canvassing a three-block radius in downtown KCK UG employees collected over 29, 42-gallon trash bags full of trash and 4 tires. This clean-up effort is part of a larger Wyandotte County/ KCK beautification project that will be led by the UG Buildings and Logistics Department.
A huge thank you to the UG Staff that volunteered over their lunch break to make our community clean!
The Unified Government welcome community members and organizations to join us in our efforts of making Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas neighborhoods some of the cleanest neighborhoods around. Stay tuned for a series of other clean up events throughout Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas.
