FAQ keeps residents up-to-date on Republic Services work stoppage

Published July 18 2025

To help Bellevue residents cope with Republic Services' work stoppage, the company has added another waste drop-off date - Saturday, July 19, at Odle Middle School, 502 143rd Ave. NE., 8 a.m-3 p.m. Bagged garbage, recycling and compost materials will be accepted there. Residents are advised to be prepared for long wait times impacting traffic in the area.

More drop-off dates will be made available if the stoppage continues.

Updates about the work stoppage are at RepublicBellevue.com. To keep residents informed of all the details related to this evolving situation, including all drop-off dates, the city has created an online Frequently Asked Questions page. The city will continue to update the FAQ, as new questions and answers come in.
