Sustainable Propulsion & Fuels Panel Take Center Stage at boot Düsseldorf

On January 18, leaders and technical experts will gather at boot Düsseldorf, the world's largest indoor boat and water sports show, for a panel titled Powering the Future: Sustainable Propulsion & Fuels.

The panel session will explore emerging technologies, future fuel and propulsion options, and the real-world challenges of scaling these solutions across the global marine sector. Panelists will share perspectives on innovation, infrastructure needs, regulatory considerations, and the collaboration required to support long-term sustainability while meeting the needs of boaters worldwide.
Speakers include Jeff Wasil, NMMA's Vice President of Environmental Compliance and Marine Technology; Steve Andrasko of Brunswick Corporation; Erwan Faoucher of Beneteau Group; Mats Kuhnle of Polucharge; and Professor Felix Leach of the University of Oxford. The discussion will be moderated by Marcus Karl of Krall Media.
The panel underscores the importance of cross-industry engagement and continued investment in research and development as the marine industry works to power the future of boating in a strategic and sustainable way.
