City of Mesquite Employees Give Back to Local Nonprofit Community
City of Mesquite employees raised nearly $38,000 for local charities through the 2025 Real.Texas.Giving. campaign. The drive ran from October to November 2025. City of Mesquite employees donated through payroll deduction, raffles, participating in contests, and a silent auction.
This year, Real.Texas.Giving. will assist charitable organizations and programs including United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Helping Others in Mesquite Everyday (H.O.M.E.), American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Addressing Mesquite Day, Mesquite Police Association Charities, Santa Cop, Mesquite Pipes and Drums, Sharing Life Community Outreach, Fill the Boot, Mesquite Animal Services, Mesquite Library, Mesquite Arts Center, Historic Mesquite, Inc., and Keep Mesquite Beautiful.
