Grek was joined by colleagues from Duke University and Iowa State for a panel presentation about centralized research project management service models. Boise State's Division of Research and Economic Development has established itself as a leader in research project management and since the start of the initiative in 2022, demand for the services from campus principal investigators has grown significantly. The project management team has grown from one staff member to a team of five.

"Grek has developed processes, training, and new service lines for the project management initiative that are responsive to campus needs and alleviate administrative burden for principal investigators. I am so grateful for her leadership," said Anna Drennen, director of education, training and programmatic sustainability in the Center for Research and Creative Activities.

Grek will also co-lead the start of a new peer mentoring group for post-award project management. She has established herself as a leader in the field and continues to share the innovative work that Boise State does with broad audiences.
