We are monitoring river levels, with an anticipated crest at 9.2 feet on Monday afternoon. This is considered just under "action" stage, with no significant public impacts to homes or businesses.
At this stage, some low-lying roads, trails, and park amenities may close - including Robins Lake, the Prairie Park ADA fishing pier, Cedar Valley Nature Trail from 8th to 16th Avenue, and the Sac and Fox Trail.
City staff remain in close contact with the National Weather Service for any changes to these predictions. Our team will conduct 24/7 river level observation and monitoring this weekend to address any concerns.
