Andrews FCU COO Damita Robinson Appointed Vice Chair of MD Chamber of Commerce Board

Damita Robinson, Chief Operating Officer for Andrews Federal Credit Union, was recently appointed Vice Chair of Maryland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Robinson will serve in the role of Vice Chair for the 2025-26 year.

Prior to this appointment, Robinson served the Maryland Chamber as the organization's treasurer. In her new position as Vice Chair, she will support the Chamber and the Maryland community, continuing to strengthen the credit union's ties with the local community. According to Ken Orgeron, President and CEO of Andrews Federal Credit Union, Damita's leadership provides valuable support to the Maryland community. "Andrews Federal continues to invest in economic wellbeing for people and businesses in Maryland," Orgeron said. "We continue to develop new branch locations and provide jobs to the Maryland community. Damita's strong leadership on the Maryland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors gives us additional opportunities to contribute to the success of our community and to ensure Maryland grows and thrives."

The Maryland Chamber of Commerce is a statewide business advocacy organization with a focus on issues that directly impact Maryland businesses. The Chamber is an advocate for policies that positively affect Maryland businesses. Through Robinson's role with the Chamber, she will continue to utilize the skills and knowledge she has attained throughout her career.
