Director-General of International Organizations Department chairs a meeting with relevant agencies on further actions related to landmines in the context of the Anti-personnel Mine Ban Convention

On 13 January 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, chaired a meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant national security agencies to advance actions to address violations of the Anti-personnel Mine Ban Convention (APMBC), also known as the Ottawa Convention. The meeting also received updates on progress in humanitarian demining undertaken in accordance with Thailand's obligations under the Convention and exchanged views on enhancing international cooperation in humanitarian demining.
