EXIM Lends $10.3M to Titomic USA, Inc. to Boost Advanced Manufacturing and Support Jobs in Alabama

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 21, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) has approved a $10.3 million direct loan to Titomic USA Inc. (Titomic), supporting the expansion of advanced manufacturing capabilities in Huntsville, Alabama. The loan will be provided under the Bank's Make More in America Initiative, which extends EXIM financing to export-oriented domestic manufacturing projects, especially in sectors critical to national security.

The financing will support the purchase of an integrated high-pressure cold-spray production cell, enabling Titomic to expand its domestic capacity to manufacture, repair, and restore high-performance metal components in the United States. The transaction is expected to support at least dozens of new full-time jobs in Alabama.

"EXIM's Make More in America initiative ensures that strategically important production capabilities, like those at Titomic, remain in the United States for years to come," said EXIM Chairman John Jovanovic. "Under President Trump's leadership, we are strengthening America's advanced manufacturing base and supporting well-paying jobs."

"We are extremely grateful to Chairman Jovanovic, the Export-Import Bank of the United States, and Congressman Dale Strong for their leadership and support in advancing American manufacturing," said Jim Simpson, CEO and Managing Director of Titomic Limited. "This financing represents an important milestone in Titomic's transition from advanced technology development to industrial-scale production in the United States. EXIM's support will help us accelerate production capabilities at our Huntsville facility, create highly skilled American jobs, strengthen domestic supply chains, and expand our ability to serve commercial aerospace, space, energy, maritime, and other industrial markets. We are proud to be investing in Alabama and contributing to the resurgence of American advanced manufacturing."

"America needs a strong manufacturing base to remain competitive around the world," said Representative Dale W. Strong (AL-05). "EXIM's financing for Titomic will support advanced manufacturing in North Alabama and help expand our country's industrial capabilities. We have the workforce and expertise to lead in this industry, and we need to keep building on that strength here at home."

The project will help reduce reliance on overseas production, improve industrial resilience, and support U.S. technological leadership in next-generation manufacturing. Located in Huntsville, a growing hub for aerospace and defense innovation, Titomic's expanded operations will contribute to a stronger domestic industrial base and support export-oriented growth.
