The 2025 ABU Engineering Awards and Technical Review Prizes were announced during the ABU Technical Committee Meeting at the 62nd ABU General Assembly in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The Engineering Awards once again recognised individuals and organisations that have made exceptional contributions to broadcasting technology. Five awards were presented, celebrating achievements in engineering excellence, innovation, industry service, sustainable development, and the work of young and developing engineers. Winners received their awards in recognition of their outstanding efforts to advance the broadcasting sector.

The Technical Review Prizes highlighted excellence in research and practical application, with winning papers chosen from those published in the ABU Technical Review journal. Awards were presented in three categories: Practical Implementation, Research, and Case Studies.
