Main Street and I-35E Closure Update: March 27-28
Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will close multiple lanes of I-35E this weekend to pour the concrete deck for the new Main Street bridge.
Main Street (FM 1171) Bridge
The bridge will close at 8 p.m., on Friday, March 27, and will reopen by 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28.
I-35E Managed Lanes
These lanes will close at 8 p.m., on Friday, March 27, and will reopen by 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28.
NB I-35E Main Lanes
All northbound lanes of I-35E will close at 10 p.m., on March 27, and will reopen by 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 28. During this closure, all traffic will be detoured off the main lanes of I-35E at Main Street/Fox Ave exit and will travel along the service road.
SB I-35E Main Lanes
All southbound lanes of I-35E will close at 10 p.m., on March 27, and will reopen by 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 28. During this closure, all traffic will be detoured off the main lanes of I-35E at Valley Ridge and will travel along the service road.
There will be police officers available throughout the weekend to assist with traffic control.
