Halpern Enterprises, Inc. announces it has signed a 15,000-square-foot lease with Planet Fitness (NYSE: PLNT) at Harvest Park Centre, a 166,035-square-foot power center at 5439 Washington Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee.
"Planet Fitness is one of the largest gym operators in the world," said Halpern Regional Leasing Director Benjamin Halpern, who negotiated the lease. "Bringing a new club to Harvest Park complements our existing tenancy and provides an exceptional fitness experience in a convenient, high-quality setting."
Planet Fitness was founded in Dover, New Hampshire, in 1992. According to its website, as of March 31, 2026, Planet Fitness had approximately 21.5 million members and 2,909 clubs in 50 states and in Canada, Panama, Mexico, Australia, and Spain.
Shadow-anchored by Target, Harvest Park Centre is the main retail destination for East Knoxville and the surrounding area. National co-tenancy includes Marshalls, Ross, Bath & Body Works, Old Navy, and Dollar Tree, among others. A full-access traffic signal, along with two additional points of ingress and egress, provides easy access to nearby I-640.
