FDOT Road Improvements Scheduled
FOOT will begin milling and resurfacing improvements on State Road 70 from west of US 98 to east of NW 5th Avenue starting in October 2025. The project limits cover approximately 2 miles. In addition to resurfacing, crews will perform pavement grinding, curb, gutter, and sidewalk improvements, apply new pavement markings, and replace non-ADA curb ramp. The estimated project cost is $2 million. Lane closures and traffic pattern changes will be in place during construction.
