Water Infrastructure Upgrade on Lincoln Avenue

Starting Monday, December 15, 2025, California Water Service (Cal Water) will begin a water main replacement project to improve service reliability and fire protection. The project will take place on Lincoln Avenue, between Avenue B and West Alisal Street.

What to Expect:

• Work Scope: West Valley Construction, will be trenching to install new water main piping, service lines, and hydrants.

• Schedule: Work will occur Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (excluding holidays).

• Traffic Impact: Expect partial road closures on Lincoln Avenue during work hours. Please follow all posted detour signs for your safety.

• Duration: The project is estimated to take approximately 4 months.

Temporary Water Service Interruptions:

Residents will experience temporary water service interruptions for one to two days when individual connections are tied to the new main. Cal Water has stated they will notify customers prior to any planned shutdown, which typically occurs between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
