City Offices Closed on Memorial Day
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (May 22, 2026) - Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, is a federal and state holiday.
New Brunswick's city offices are closed, as well as all state and federal offices. The New Brunswick Free Public Library will be closed on Saturday, May 23, as well as Memorial Day. The New Brunswick Senior Citizen Resource Center will also be closed on May 25.
Residents and business owners who are scheduled for trash collection on Monday, May 25 will instead have trash collected on Wednesday, May 27.
There will be no mail delivery on the holiday. Banks will also be closed.
