Welcoming at Tashkent-Humo International Airport

On March 26, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, arrived in Tashkent, the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on a state visit.

At the Tashkent-Humo International Airport, the distinguished guest, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, was warmly and sincerely welcomed by the leader of the host country, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

In honor of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the airport area had a festive atmosphere.

The flags of both countries were raised, and slogans and banners were hung, praising the friendship of the peoples of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The state visit of the President of the country, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, will take place on March 26-27 in the cities of Tashkent and Bukhara, and high-level meetings and negotiations at the first session of the Supreme Interstate Council, the signing of a large number of new cooperation documents, the holding of a business forum, and a number of cultural events, including the Friendship Evening and the Days of Tajik Culture in Uzbekistan, are expected to take place within the framework of the visit.
