Diesel prices reached all time high last week

COLUMBUS, OHIO - Thanks to the Jon Husted-backed Iran war, the average family in Ohio is paying $1,650 more because of the increase in energy, food, and interest costs, according to an analysis by Moody's Analytics.

Last week, the average price of diesel hit an all time high of $6 per gallon, which will drastically worsen inflation and send prices up on nearly everything Ohioans buy. Meanwhile, Jon Husted has voted 13 times to support the endless war that Ohioans are paying the price for.

Ohio Democratic Party Senior Communications Advisor Tony Wen released the following statement:

"Ohio families are now paying $1,650 more on everything because of the Jon Husted-backed war in Iran, and diesel prices just hit an all-time high. Jon Husted has voted thirteen times to support this endless war, and everyday Ohioans are paying the price for Husted's votes."

While Husted keeps voting to make everything more expensive, he also can't help himself from insulting hardworking Ohioans struggling because of his votes:

  • Jon Husted has now voted thirteen times in support of the Iran War that is sending prices soaring.
  • When asked if he was okay with not knowing how long the war will last or how much taxpayer dollars will be spent, Husted replied, "it's not really up to us."
  • When a truck driver asked about soaring diesel costs, Husted brushed him off and responded by asking if he was comfortable with Iran being a nuclear power.
