UA Giving Day 2026 resulted in a record-breaking show of support for the University of Alaska. More than 3,000 donors made it the largest fundraising event by number of donors in UA's history, a remarkable milestone.
The purpose of UA Giving Day is to engage people with the university, and this year we accomplished that goal. All of the participation resulted in a cumulative gift impact of more than $1.1 million.
Thank You!
This year, students were invited to participate by writing thank you letters to donors and recording "thank you" video messages. To see all that UA Giving Day 2026 accomplished and watch a heartfelt thank-you video from students, visit givingday.alaska.edu.
Thank you for helping make 2026 a record-breaking year. Your ongoing support for UA matters every day of the year.
Behind the Scenes
Dozens of staff prepare for months to make UA Giving Day a fun, engaging 49 hours. Departments, programs, units and athletic teams across the whole UA system creatively engage alumni and friends in their networks. The result is the widespread show of support that is channeled into the annual event each March.
