Woman Critically Injured in September 19 Crash on Ashland City Highway Has Died

A woman critically injured in last Saturday's two-vehicle crash in the 4700 block of Ashland City Highway has died at Skyline Medical Center.

Emily C. Dollarhide, 35, was a passenger in a 2025 Ford Mustang being driven by her husband, Carl J. Dollarhide, 31, when the car struck a Dodge Ram pickup truck that had begun making a U-turn. The preliminary investigation showed the Mustang was traveling at a high rate of speed. Carl J. Dollarhide was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. Emily Dollarhide was sitting on her seatbelt.

The driver of the pickup truck, Gary Pinson, 63, was wearing his seatbelt and received non-life-threatening injuries.

There were no indications of impairment among any of the parties.

The investigation is continuing and, upon completion, will be staffed with the District Attorney's Office.
