Upcoming Planned Roadwork for Northeast Missouri, April 6 - 17, 2026

HANNIBAL - The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.

Macon County

Route VV - April 13, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Arctic Road to Beaver Street between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route VV - April 14, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Beaver Street to Aurora Street between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route VV - April 15, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Aurora Street to Ballpark Avenue between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Marion County

Route E - April 14 & 16, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 36 to Route C between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

Route K - April 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from U.S. Route 36 to Route C between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Route W - April 20, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 61 to Missouri Route 168 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Route CC - April 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route K to Route Z between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Route KK - April 21, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 61 to CR 405 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Montgomery County

I-70 (Westbound) - April 15, LANE RESTRICTION for signal repairs from mile marker 183.5 to mile marker 181.6 between 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. An 11-foot width restriction will be in place at the location where crews are actively working.

I-70 (Westbound) - April 16, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from mile marker 170.5 to mile marker 167.6 between 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. An 11-foot width restriction will be in place at the location where crews are actively working.

I-70 (Eastbound) - April 17, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from mile marker 165.8 to mile marker 168.8 between 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. An 11-foot width restriction will be in place at the location where crews are actively working.

Route V - April 13, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 161 to Route E between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Ralls County

Route J - March 13 - June 6, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Route EE continuing south to the end of the Clarence Cannon Dam bridge beginning Friday, March 13th at 7:00 a.m. through Friday, June 5th at 4:00 p.m. However, the bridge will be open to traffic beginning at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 22nd until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26th for the Memorial Day weekend.

Scotland County

Route H - April 15 - 16 & 20, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Route N to Missouri Route 15 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily.

Route H - April 21 - 22, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Route N to Missouri Route 136 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily.

Route N - April 13 - 14, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Route K to Route H between 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone.
