06/22/2026 - Traffic Alert: Capitol and 4th Avenue Intersection Closed

Capitol and 4th Avenue - Intersection Closed
Beginning June 22, 2026, the intersection of Capitol Way and 4th Avenue will be closed until further notice while crews repair a traffic signal damaged in a motor vehicle collision.

The intersection will remain closed during repair operations to ensure the safety of workers and the traveling public. Once crews are able to make all repairs, the roadway will reopen to traffic.

Detours will be in place during the closure. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible.

We appreciate the public's patience and cooperation while repairs are completed.
