SMUD offices closed for Independence Day
SMUD offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026 in observance of Independence Day.
Regular business hours will resume on Monday, July 6.

SMUD's 24-hour electric outage number, 1-888-456-SMUD (7683) will continue operating throughout the holiday. If power goes out, customers should notify SMUD immediately. In the event of an electrical problem, customers should be prepared to give their address, phone number, nearest cross street and a brief description of the problem.
