R2 (Moderate) flare event occurred
An impulsive M5.9 (R2-Moderate) solar flare was observed in SUVI 131 imagery at 28/2222 UTC from a yet to be numbered spot group just rotating onto the Eastern solar limb.
Analysis will be performed on any associated CMEs that may occur as imagery becomes available. Stay tuned to our web page for updates.
