Heritage Village hosts "We the People of Pinellas" Constitution Connection Event

• What: Pinellas County Parks & Conservation Resources invites visitors to the We The People of Pinellas Constitution Connection Event. This family-friendly festival celebrates National Constitution Week by uncovering the history and constitutional principles that inspired the movement to establish Pinellas County in 1912. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated.
• Who: Hosted by Heritage Village, a Pinellas County Park.
• When: Saturday, Sept. 19, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Where: Heritage Village Museum and Park, 11909 125th St. N., Largo.

The event centers on a site-wide scavenger hunt where participants discover how U.S. Constitution principles led to Pinellas County's independence from Hillsborough County. The hunt features educational stops at historic structures preserved at Heritage Village.

The Daughters of the American Revolution Boca Ciega Chapter will also be on site to host Constitution Trivia and give away historical children's books while supplies last. Food will be available for purchase.
