Ms. Jennifer Desautel, DCAA Director, recently visited offices in the Air Directorate and hosted town halls. While there, she recognized several employees for their attention to detail and analytical skills, resulting in significant cost savings for DCAA. Their work has been instrumental in ensuring the responsible use of taxpayer dollars.

• Darcy Ledbetter leveraged her analytical skills to help identify $18 million in cost savings and provided critical support to the customer.
• Kimberly Alvarez, Senior Auditor, worked throughout the 2025 government shutdown, delivering an audit ahead of schedule and without interruption. She identified $58 million in questioned costs and conducted two major audits, evaluating over half a billion in proposed costs.
• Gin Dillingham is a Supervisory Auditor who led her team to complete a multi-year $5.1 billion audit significantly ahead of schedule and under budget.
• Jessy Nelson, Auditor, and Paul Duprey, Supervisory Auditor, supported pre-negotiation efforts for two subcontract proposal audits resulting in reports with adverse opinions, questioning 25% of the costs.
