Michael Whatley Hosts Restoring Law and Order Press Conference in Johnston County |
|
JOHNSTON COUNTY - Today, Michael Whatley hosted a restoring law and order press conference alongside local elected leaders and local law enforcement officials to discuss how Governor Roy Cooper 40 years of being soft on crime culminating in his tragic decision to give 4,200 convicted criminals, including violent offenders who lit their neighbor on fire and watched him burn to death, a get out of jail free card. And the law enforcement folks discussed why pretty much every major law enforcement organization in NC has endorsed Michael Whatley over a former Attorney General. Whatley was joined by Congressman Brad Knott (NC-13), NC Senator Benton Sawrey (District 10), Steven Scherbekow (North Carolina State Troopers Association), Retired Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison, and Stephen Fredrico (Father of Logan Fredrico who was killed by a criminal Cooper's soft on crime policies let walk free). |

"Roy Cooper put our communities in danger when he let 4,200 violent felons out of prison. There are 25 families who will never see their loved ones at the dinner table again as a result of his woke, soft on crime policies. There is blood on Cooper's hands because he sided with the woke mob over North Carolina families," said Michael Whatley. |
