Blog: Accenture Expands Accenture AWS Business Group with New AI Products Capability

What's New?

  • Accenture will be launching a new product capability to comprise of its first-ever suite of AI-enabled products built on AWS, packaging Accenture's deep industry expertise in repeatable, ready-to-deploy solutions available through AWS Marketplace
  • First product will be an autonomous supply chain solution to reinvent supply chain orchestration through a single, intelligent, AI-native architecture
  • Collaboration backed by forward deployed engineer (FDE) knowledge and experience

Most enterprises aren't struggling to experiment with AI-they're struggling to scale it. Accenture research found that only 32% of leaders report having achieved sustained, enterprise-wide AI impact. Scaling AI across operations requires data readiness, the right governance guardrails, clear ROI, and often a complete rethink of operating models.

Accenture and AWS are expanding their collaboration with a new products capability within the Accenture AWS Business Group. It's focused on developing new industry and function-specific joint AI-enabled products designed to help enterprises move from one-off pilots to repeatable, scalable solutions that drive business value across key functions.

"We are aligning what we sell, where we sell it, and how we deliver it to address our actual client pain points-moving from bespoke builds to productized, industry-ready AI solutions that scale with confidence. By combining AWS cloud and advanced AI services and tooling with Accenture's deep industry, engineering and delivery expertise, we're helping clients move beyond experimentation to repeatable reinvention." - Jennifer Jackson, AWS Business Group Lead, Accenture

"By packaging decades of knowledge into productized, AI-enabled solutions on AWS, Accenture is making capabilities that were once only accessible through large-scale engagements available to a much broader set of organizations. This isn't just a new product line-it's a new model for scaling expertise. Customers of all sizes can now tap into Accenture's industry depth on their own terms, deployed in weeks rather than months, and continuously improved through AI. That's the kind of innovation that changes who gets access to world-class solutions and how fast they can move." - Alister Fraser, Global Lead, Accenture AWS Business Group, AWS

A Roadmap for Solutions-tarting with Supply Chain
The products capability will span multiple industries and functions -supply chain, finance, operations, marketing, and more-with a roadmap of solutions planned for release over the coming year. Each product distills Accenture's domain expertise and proven delivery frameworks into ready-to-deploy, AI-enabled solutions built on AWS.

The first product to emerge from this collaboration will be an autonomous supply chain product. Designed with Accenture's supply chain expertise, the product will help enterprises reinvent supply chain cross-platform orchestration through a single, intelligent, AI-native architecture. It includes agentic workflows and a growing library of pre-built, enterprise certified AI agents that autonomously collect data, build a contextual knowledge layer, and transform manual coordination into self-managed decision intelligence across planning, logistics and inventory visibility.

By applying AI in cost-intensive areas, research from Accenture shows that leading companies are realizing trapped value and redeploying resources to fund sustained profitability. Autonomous technologies used for intelligent transportation management, for example, have the potential to reduce transportation spend by up to 12% and improve on-time, in-full performance by up to 30%.

For a global pharmaceutical company, AI and automation are already transforming supply chain inventory optimization across millions of data combinations. Accenture designed and deployed a multi-agent AI system-featuring more than 30 agents, a semantic layer, and hundreds of pre-built data products-that sense, evaluate, and act in near real-time. The system continuously simulates scenarios, delivering greater visibility and control while enabling human leaders to define governance, set clear goals and guardrails, and oversee outcomes. This "human-in-the-lead" model has already identified hundreds of millions in savings and is on track to unlock that value, along with hundreds of millions more.

Backed by Knowledge and Experience
Supporting the products capability are Accenture FDEs, with proven playbooks that help clients embed engineering expertise and deploy technology with confidence to achieve sustained innovation. These engineers work directly alongside clients using advanced agent AWS services including Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore, as well as tools like Claude Code and Kiro to build AI solutions that are production-ready, operationally mature, and built for long-term innovation.

The supply chain product will leverage Claude in Amazon Bedrock, pairing frontier AI with enterprise-grade security to help organizations build and scale AI applications with confidence. This deep integration with AWS enables us to build agentic supply chain workflows that by nature are multi-step, allowing us to scale autonomously, providing complete session isolation to ensure each execution is fully contained.

Where to Start
The joint products will be available through a new Accenture storefront via AWS Marketplace Storefronts. AWS Marketplace Storefronts let partners create a curated, branded experience that showcases their complete solution portfolio and meets customers where they already are. For enterprise buyers, that means less friction: no complex custom engagement is required to get started.

The next phase of enterprise AI isn't about building more proofs-of-concept. It's about having the right combination of industry expertise, engineering capability, and cloud-based digital core to make AI work at scale - and making that combination accessible to every organization ready to move. That's the gap this collaboration is designed to close.

To become an early adopter, organizations can join the autonomous supply chain early release program by contacting Accenture AWS Business Group technology products and offerings lead Raj Talasila at [email protected].
