Chinese Consul General in Perth Fu Lihua Pays a Visit and Conveys Regards to Chung Wah Association and WA Fujian Association

On February 3 and 5, 2026, Chinese Consul General Fu Lihua paid a Chinese New Year visit and conveyed warm greetings to Chung Wah Association and WA Fujian Association. Yuan Haobo, president of Chung Wah Association, and Xie Yuzhen, president of WA Fujian Association, and members of each Association were present.

Ms. Fu Lihua extended Chinese New Year greetings, commended both Associations for their supportive role in compatriots' contribution to the development of spreading Chinese traditional culture, promoting local economy and multicultural construction. Fu encouraged Chinese Communities to continue to forge ahead with determination and innovative, bring better service and stronger solidarity to WA Chinese Communities, and stand firmly to China's complete reunification. Fu expressed the wishes that Chinese Communities will continue to serve as a bridge to promote people-to-people exchanges, cultural communication and practical cooperation between China and WA.

Mr. Yuan and Mr. Xie both said that they will further serve and support the compatriots, promote Chinese traditional culture based on local conditions, and play an active role in promoting the relationship between China and WA.
