San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will soon perform a full closure of State Route 120/Yosemite Avenue due to Union Pacific Railroad track repairs at French Camp Road.
SR-120/Yosemite Avenue will be closed between Murphy Road and French Camp Road beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 8, through 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026.
DETOUR: Westbound traffic will be required to use French Camp Road to N. Ripon Rd. to navigate around this closure.
Eastbound traffic must take Murphy Rd. to French Camp Rd., to navigate around closure (See highway closure/detour map.)
Driveways between Murphy Rd. and French Camp Rd. will still be available to those who require access, by entering from the western closure at Murphy Rd.
All work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues. For the safety of workers and other motorists, please Be Work Zone Alert.
