"The Women's Commission does exceptional work connecting women across Ocean County with the valuable resources they need to lead safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives," said Ocean County Commissioner Jennifier Bacchione, liaison to the Ocean County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women. "True wellness goes beyond maintaining our physical health. It also includes taking care of our mental well-being, managing stress, and feeling confident in other areas of our lives."

"Dealing with financial and legal matters can often feel overwhelming and stressful. This innovative workshop provides women with accessible, practical information that can help make these daunting responsibilities feel more manageable," Bacchione said.

The Financial & Legal Wellness Workshop will take place in October, Ocean County's Women's Health Month, as women's health encompasses many dimensions, including financial and legal wellness.

Guest speakers, Amy Moretti and Clyde Crofoot, Esq. will present on various financial and legal topics, such as building assets, managing and reducing debt, establishing retirement savings, saving and investing finances, estate planning, inheritance and estate taxes, ownership of property types, and more.

Various agencies including the Ocean County Surrogate's Office, the Ocean County Office of Senior Services, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office - Financial Crimes Unit, and O.C.E.A.N. Inc. will be available to answer questions, share information, and connect attendees with valuable resources and services.
