Implementing Zero Recruitment Fees for Migrant Workers to Build a Supportive Workplace

Alpha Networks Inc. (TWSE: 3380), a leading networking equipment manufacturer, announced on October 1 that it had been selected for the CommonWealth Talent Sustainability Award, a benchmark award for human resources management in Taiwan. The recognition honors the company's long-standing commitment and tangible achievements in fair recruitment, human rights protection, the creation of a healthy and supportive workplace, and employee career development.

Fair recruitment was the key highlight of this recognition. Alpha Networks has invested more than NT$10 million to reimburse recruitment fees for over 100 current migrant workers and former migrant workers eligible for retrospective reimbursement. The company has also fully incorporated its zero-fee principle into the recruitment of new migrant workers, assuming responsibility for recruitment-related costs to protect workers from the risks of exploitation by recruitment agencies and indebtedness, fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.

Alpha Networks has also demonstrated outstanding performance in human rights governance. All of its global production sites comply with international social responsibility standards and have passed third-party on-site assessments under the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Validated Assessment Program (VAP), achieving 100% RBA VAP coverage. The company continues to strengthen its management practices in labor, health and safety, the environment, business ethics, and management systems. It also applies RBA standards to supplier management to improve working conditions and workplace environments and extend its sustainability impact.

As part of its efforts to build a healthy and supportive workplace, Alpha Networks recently received the Sports Enterprise Certification from Taiwan's Sports Administration.
