The field of sports and professional athletes has always been under the support and appreciation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and their efforts and achievements in international competitions, which are a means of worthy presentation of the nation and state on the world stage, are appreciated.

The establishment of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Prize to winners and prizewinners of international sports competitions is a sign of state appreciation of the country's distinguished athletes who work hard on the world stage to protect the reputation of the nation and raise the status of the state.

This is the fifth year that this prize has been awarded under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon to winners and prizewinners of international sports competitions and their coaches.

In accordance with this order and based on the proposal of the Commission for the Awards of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, 67 athletes in 8 sports, including wrestling, freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, boxing, rowing, taekwondo (WT), sambo, and kickboxing, will be awarded the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Prize.

The total amount of prizes is 2,040,000 (two million forty thousand) somoni, with up to 150,000 somoni provided for each athlete depending on their sporting results.

Based on these awards, the sporting results of our country's athletes have increased year by year, and 510 medals have been added to the country's sports treasury during this period, including 140 gold, 166 silver, and 204 bronze.
