AURORA, Ill., April 1, 2026 - Westell Technologies, Inc. ("Westell"), a leading provider of high-performance network infrastructure solutions, announced today that Jerrie Kertz, a telecommunications industry veteran and former Senior Vice President at AT&T, has been appointed to the Westell's Board of Directors, increasing the Board size by one. Ms. Kertz will serve as a member of the Audit Committee, the Compensation Committee, and the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.

Upon appointment, effective April 1, 2026, Ms. Kertz received a restricted stock grant for 2,500 shares of Class A Common Stock of Westell. The awards will vest 100% on the first anniversary of the grant date.

Throughout her career at AT&T, Ms. Kertz held a series of senior leadership roles spanning network operations, compliance, entertainment, operations, and technology. As Senior Vice President of Transformation and Transition Implementation, she led the separation and transition of both DIRECTV and WarnerMedia from AT&T, driving transformation savings. As Senior Vice President of Compliance, she directed AT&T's global compliance program across all lines of business. Ms. Kertz also held executive positions in Information Technology and Global Network Engineering, as well as earlier roles in Internal Audit and Field Operations.

Ms. Kertz recently concluded her role with AT&T as an Advisor and Consultant, having been engaged by the CEO of AT&T to lead integration planning for a $5 billion acquisition of fiber-to-the-home assets covering four million customer locations. She also serves as a Board Member and Secretary of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, where she is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee, and was an Advisory Council member of the Texas A&M University Industrial and Systems Engineering Department from 2011-2026.

Ms. Kertz earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University. She holds a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) designation and an NACD Directorship Certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors.
