Chamber partnership helps deliver tailored support for the cyber security sector
A series of videos have been launched to support the cyber security sector, answering questions raised by businesses at the Cyber Local Midlands Business Roundtable, delivered by Innovate UK, East Midlands Chamber and Chamber patron Air IT Group on 13th March.
The round table was delivered as one of a series with cybersecurity specialists on hand to answer questions, discuss real world challenges and to help shape practical next steps for strengthening cyber resilience locally. The feedback from the sessions has been used to develop this series of videos with cyber security experts to support local businesses.
The event included talks from Lee Johnson, Chief Technology Officer at Chamber patron Air IT Group on emerging cybersecurity trends across the region and key security concerns facing local businesses. Simon Shiu, Professor of Practice in Cyber Security, University of Bristol gave a talk on the Cyber Security Growth Action Plan - an independent report commissioned by Government from Bristol University and Imperial College London.
Produced by Innovate UK in partnership with Cyber Local, East Midlands Chamber, Intercity Technology and the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, the videos provide answers to the questions businesses that attended the round table put forward.
