REMINDER: One Day a Week Watering Begins November 2

Orange County, FL - Saving water starts with you! When clocks change by one hour November 2 to Eastern Standard Time, Orange County residents should also remember to change their irrigation timers to one day per week.

This schedule will remain in effect until Daylight Saving Time returns March 8, 2026. The time change corresponds with mandatory lawn and landscape irrigation restrictions that specify the watering days based on odd- or even-numbered addresses.

Additional restrictions include:

  • Water only if necessary and not between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
  • Water for no more than one hour per zone.
  • Restrictions apply to private wells and pumps, ground or surface water and water from public and private utilities.
  • Some exceptions apply.

Repeat violators will be subject to a fine per violation.
