From 13 April 2026, Banca d'Italia's Online Services Platform becomes the sole channel for CR, CAI and complaints submissions

As of 13 April 2026, Banca d'Italia's Online Services for the Public Platform will be the only electronic channel available for submitting:

  • requests for access to the Central Credit Register (CR);
  • requests for access to the Interbank Register of Bad Cheques and Payment Cards (CAI);
  • complaints concerning problems encountered by the public in their dealings with banks and financial intermediaries.

E-mail and certified e-mail (PEC) will no longer be accepted for these services.

The platform can be accessed at any time and from any digital device, and it provides these services free of charge, even to users who do not have a PEC address or an account with an authorized digital identity service. It will also ensure the protection of confidential and personal data and will enable more rapid service delivery.

Access requests and complaints will continue to be accepted in paper form by regular mail, fax, or in person at Banca d'Italia branches.
