TASK GROUP PANAAD DEACTIVATION CEREMONY

Gov. Bong Lacson led the Task Group Panaad Festival 2025 Deactivation Ceremony at the Panaad Park in Bacolod City, this morning, and commended the group for spearheading the peace and order, security, preparedness, and response to the needs of the public for the weeklong festivities.

The governor thanked Provincial PNP Director, Police Colonel Rainero de Chavez, the NOCCPO Command Group and Provincial Staff, men and women in uniform of concerned government agencies, local government officials, and all those who have contributed to the success of this year's Panaad.

"As we formally conclude the troop deployment of the Philippine National Police in support of this year's Panaad Festival, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every one of you. Your presence has been instrumental in ensuring the safety, order, and security of our people throughout the duration of our beloved festival," he said.

He also said that the success of Panaad is not only measured by the vibrancy of the cultural showcase or the enthusiasm of our people but also by the peace and security that allowed people to celebrate without fear.

"The PNP has once again demonstrated professionalism, discipline, and efficiency in managing large crowds, safeguarding public spaces, and responding to contingencies," he added.

Present at the activity were Panaad Executive Director Charina Magallanes-Tan and PDRRMO Head Irene Bel Ploteña, among others.*
