AVP of Facilities Services finalists, candidate open forums announced

Finalists have been announced for the position of associate vice president for Facilities Services at Illinois State University. The campus community is invited to learn about each of the candidates during the following open forums and to provide feedback.

Each session will be held in the Old Main Room of the Bone Student Center from 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Tuesday, February 10, 2026 -

Michael Averett, currently assistant vice president, Facilities Management and Campus Operations, University of Evansville

Thursday, February 12, 2026 -

Samuel Phillips, currently associate vice president for University Operations and Administrative Services, Indiana University of Pennsylvania
