An evening with Dr. Karen Berman: Stories of Healing Through Art Presentation & book signing
School of Continuing and Professional Studies Wednesday February 25, 2026
Join us to hear from Dr. Karen Berman, past chair and artistic director of Georgia College & State University's Department of Theatre and Dance, as she discusses her newly released work, Stories of the Holocaust: Art for Healing and Renewal.

College of Arts & Sciences Auditorium
Discover how a decade-old friendship and a powerful campus performance with Holocaust survivor Ela Weissberger inspired this international collaboration of voices, using art as a pathway to healing, resilience and transformation.
Berman will share insights from her work, exploring how theater, music, film and visual arts serve as tools for education, healing and renewal.
Light refreshments will be served. Books available for purchase and signing.
